Aguilar is 2171's Principal Designer. She is the force that moves the floral design team behind 2171 to explore new ideas few arrangers would pursue. Come to think of it, she's the creative spirit behind all of 2171's ground-breaking design themes. It is her attention to the tiniest detail that endears her to 2171's loyal clientele from the country's top corporations, schools and other institutions, and earns her the respect not just from her design team but her colleagues in the industry. This makes every arrangement by 2171 special. More than just creative - special. Joyce makes it a point to "reflect" a bit of her clients in every arrangement she undertakes. If not the giver, then the receiver - in the eyes of the one giving the gift. She travels extensively, attends various flower arranging symposiums, workshops and competitions to push herself further, widen her floral "palette" and open herself up to various influences of top floral designers from around the globe. Joyce has been in Bangkok, Thailand during the 2001 World Flower Council Summit, and in Singapore in 2002 for the Millennium Bouquets Seminar given by Anson Low, AIFD. She was also a student to the German Master of European Designs, Gregor Lersch. Her discipline and style in floral art was also learned from the highest ranking American Floral Designer, JR Nocon, AIFD. She won as Second Runner-up in the First Andre Awards for Excellence in Floral Design held on June 12, 2003. She is an active member of World Flower Council International and Flower Club Philippines. 2171 Floral Creations has been awarded as the "Best Flowershop" by the National Product Quality Excellence Awards in 2005. 2171 Floral Creations is a full service florist serving Metro Manila area and some of the nearby towns including Metro Davao.
