Congratulations to the winners of the recently concluded 7th Philippine Web Awards! The event was held in Greenbelt’s Onstage Theater last night, November 23.

Being a PWA finalist and awardee for a number of times, Kasal.com supported this year’s event by being one of its media partners and by helping in the Finals judging process. Kasal.com Brand Manager Ms. Mathel Ong, together with other 16 personalities from the local ICT industry, evaluated the finalists based on the following criteria - content, design, usability, and functionality. When asked by PWA on her expectations from this year’s edition, Ms. Ong said,

" I hope this year’s edition, more than focusing on the design/technical aspect, would place great importance on the website’s business model. This can be seen on the site’s content and services and how these aptly meet the target market’s needs and wants.

What determines a website’s success is how it managed to sustain its business model, and innovated/evolved from it in order to meet the changing, growing demands."
