Soon-to-wed couples found
the wedding suppliers that would make their wedding perfect
at The Bridal Expo: Perfect Beginnings Year 6 held last June
13 – 14, 2009 at the World Trade Center, in Pasay City.
According to Mr. Alfonso
Dulatre Jr., Project Manager of Trade Advertising Exhibitions
and Conventions International, Inc. (TRADECON, Inc.,), the
organizers of the event, the bridal expo aims to help soon-to-wed
couples make their wedding day simply perfect by getting the
best wedding suppliers for their big day.
Numerous activities were
held during the two-day event that helped couples plan for
their wedding and at the same time, educate them with certain
issues they may face in their married life. Representatives
from pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline talked about “What
Every Woman Needs to Know About Cervical Cancer”. Feng
Shui Master Mr. Aldric Dalumpines taught about auspicious
wedding rituals and how couples can promote harmony in their
new home and their relationship. All throughout the event,
couples were entertained by the music of Leggiero String,
Sentimental Groove, SJT Strings Ensemble, Bric Events, Anima
Choir, and Manila Philharmonic Orchestra.
This year's bridal expo
was capped with the Bridal Auction where soon-to-wed couples
bid for wedding apparels, wedding and honeymoon packages courtesy
of event sponsors and exhibitors. Among the items auctioned
were bridal gowns made by bridal couturiers Emily Sy, Michelle
Lim, Joel Bautista, and Delby Bragais; wedding rings by NX
Manila; bridal car by Hale and Hearty; and a watch by Technomarine.
Lucky couples went home with special honeymoon and business
packages courtesy of event sponsors.
